Owen Boyle
Sports Media Professional 

Hi, my name is Owen Boyle and I am from Wilmington, Delaware. I am currently a senior at Temple University majoring in Media Studies and Production with a certificate in sports media. I used my first 7 semesters at Temple to get involved in WHIP Sports to gain experience in my desired career field. WHIP Sports is the sports department at Temple's student run radio station. At WHIP, I was the Sports Director, overseeing a department of 50 plus members. I hosted weekly sports radio shows, wrote/reported about Temple Basketball and Soccer, and managed the department's social media pages. Along with those jobs, I did play-by-play for Temple Men's Soccer and Temple Men's Basketball. I aspire to work with a professional team in social media, as a reporter, or as a broadcaster.
